Inviting new members

UCFC is obviously experiencing a major growth spurt !!! This is a awesome thing and as long as we don't lose sight of the long term goals of the wing, we will undoubtedly be the best on BSG for a long time to come. Lucky Jack has put a huge amount of time and effort to establish the structure and rules for us all to follow and I would like to suggest another guideline for us all to follow:

1.) When first contact is made with potential candidate, acquire as much info as possible about the pilot (a brief screening as it were) reason for joining, gaming experience, goals, est time online etc.

2.) Explain basic UCFC rules and stress the respect to to be shown to senior officers and our female pilots...

3.) Take the responsibilty of either training the recruit the basics (to be posted at a later date)or insuring that he/she receives this instruction. This will greatly inspire loyalty to the wing and facilitate a better gaming experience for all. (You own that recruit for life..Make them the best UCFC pilot, next to you of course, in the system!!!)

4.) Along with owning(so to speak) the new recruit the mentor should monitor performance, check progress and fly with the new pilot when possible...WHEN ASKED THE RECRUIT SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM REMEMBERING THE MEMBER WHO INVITED HIM/HER !!!!!!!

LJ- http://ucfc.canadian-forum.com/t4-application-for-membership-of-ucfc-caprica-bsgo should be the first point of contact the new person should access before getting too involved with the wing.

2.) Explain basic UCFC rules and stress the respect to to be shown to senior officers and our female pilots...

LJ we at the moment have several Trainers available to assist new recruits. Getting into Dolby Axon is probably the first step in getting the new recruit info and help from the wing.

LJ- I do not want to have to require sponsors, but having the CAG trainers get involved with new recruits is always a good thing.

Thanks for the post and hope we can get everything organized and documented soon. Thanks for all your hard work. Let us grow into the top wing of Caprica, a true colonial wing.
